COURSE DESCRIPTION: This fun and power-packed course provides 11 brief lessons and 7 unique journaling activities for greater mental health and wellbeing. Participants will learn the benefits of journaling and the types of journaling options. They will play with journaling techniques, such as stream of consciousness, automatic writing, expressive writing, positive writing, perspective taking journaling and reflective writing. They will also tune in for a short audio story that encourages creativity and finding the humor in life. Additionally, students will leave with a basic understanding of thinking traps and how mindset affects our wellbeing, the what and how of emotional intelligence and tools for looking on the positive side of life.
